Quality Inspector Lead

Our client, a manufacturing company in the Romeoville area, has immediate job opportunity for a Quality Inspector.

Primary Job Duties and/or Goal of position:

- In process Quality Inspection of materials and products per established guidelines or working instructions utilizing manual or electronic measuring instruments or visual quality inspection
- Verifies and signs off on first / last piece inspections
- Approves or rejects inspected parts or labels and reports immediately any non conformities
- Records quality and/or production data on established forms
- Communicates quality issues with preceding or subsequent Quality Inspector
- Covers machine operators, assemblers, re-workers, or other during breaks or as needed and directed
Inspects and verifies shipping labels

Other Job Details and Position expectations:

- Temp to hire position
- First Shift 8:30 am to 5:30 pm
- Quality training on first or second shift
- Supervisor: Quality Inspector or Shift Leader
- Able to work independently
Experience with plastic is a plus
Must have Automotive industry background



Qualifications for candidate:

- High school diploma or equivalent
- Basic Blue print reading skills
- Be able to read and understand written documents and data.
- Physically able to perform the work with reasonable accommodations and without hazard to oneself or others; be able to lift weights up to 35 lbs.
- Good math skills
- Attention to details
- Intermediate computer skills in particular on MS Excel
- Ability to work a flexible schedule

Working hours: 8:30am to 5:30pm
